Summary:
At LetMeGo, we are fanatical about certain subjects. Specifically, we are obsessed with travel, customer service, and (of course) technology. When saw that the software development for the site was getting behind schedule, we decided to move in together and work for every waking moment of the next 90 days, in order to get back on track. This effort, which we titled "The LetMeGo Immersion", began in February of this year.
For three months we shared a cozy private home. It served as a great inspiration in our efforts to facilitate the perfect pairings of travelers and lodgings through LetMeGo. Here are the details, including pics, of the place where many of the great ideas behind LetMeGo were born.
THE LOCATION:
The house is located in the north of Bogota, Colombia (where most of the development team of LetMeGo lives). It has a relatively large area for work, as well as three bedrooms and one studio. The location was kept secret so unexpected visitors wouldn't interrupt our work.
THE LOGISTICS
LetMeGo hired Outsourrce It, LLC to take care of the logistics: from renting the house, to setting up Internet connectivity, to the hiring of the lodging staff members who would be responsible for cooking.
THE FOOD
To put it briefly, it was excellent. These talented cooks created new flavors almost every day. While the recipes were derived from the cuisines of many cultures throughout the world, each included both Colombian and European influences in their flavor. We also had beer. Well, we had beer until someone overindulged one night...
THE SERVICE:
We, the guests, didn't have to concern ourselves with anything other than work. The staff of the house even kept our clothes clean and scheduled a masseuse for us once each weekend.
