Our lovely Chain Bridge Apartment is available for vacation and short-term rentals. The one-bedroom flat is located in central Buda, just steps from the Castle, the Danube, and the Chain Bridge, and within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in a classic early-20th-century building, the apartment overlooks one of the building’s two courtyards, making it secluded and quiet. It is one of the city’s oldest and most atmospheric neighborhoods, with narrow staircases leading up to the Castle and numerous restaurants and cafés. The building is well-served by public transportation.

With original hardwood floors, doors, windows and elegant high ceilings, staying here will make you feel like a local. It has recently been renovated, and is newly furnished. The sunny 53-square-meter apartment sleeps two in the bedroom, and an additional on the foldout couch in the spacious living room.
A portable crib can be provided on request.

The apartment includes unlimited free wireless Internet for your laptop; free use of a Hungarian mobile phone; a well-equipped eat-in kitchen; a full-sized oven, stove, and refrigerator; a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster; a washing machine; a flat-screen television with cable and DVD player; a stereo with an ipod connector; a DVD/CD/book selection; a full bathroom with claw-foot tub and hairdryer; linens and towels; and an iron and board.

The apartment is situated on the second floor, and there is no elevator.

Policies

In order to avoid fraud, only make prepayments (reservations or deposits) using a credit card (or any other card that does not require a PIN number for online purchases) or PayPal. Never make an advanced payment using cash, checks, money orders or bank transfers. Learn why.

WE require a non-refundable deposit upon booking, which converts to a security deposit upon check-in. It is returned at check-out.

The apartment, is located at I. Jégverem utca 6, 2nd floor #5, Budapest, 1015 Hungary

1. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES ARE TO BE ARRANGED INDIVIDUALLY 2. This is a NON-SMOKING apartment.
3. No pets are permitted in the apartment 4. A 150 euro (or the equivalent in USD) deposit is required upon booking the reservation in order to reserve the apartment. It is non-refundable in case of cancellation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable upon check-out, provided the following provisions are met. a. No damage is done to apartment or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in refuse containers by the front door of the building, and soiled dishes are cleaned. c. Linens and towels are removed and placed in the bathroom. d. No linens are lost or damaged.
5. PAYMENT in full is required upon check-in.
6. CANCELLATIONS - In the case of a cancellation, we cannot refund your deposit. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.
7. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests per cabin is limited to four (4) persons (although the number may be raised if small children are included in the group)
8. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the cabin, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.
9. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
10. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
