Doug and Judy Cook have owned the Brannan Cottage Inn since June 2004. They used to come to Calistoga after they first met in San Francisco in 1974. After living in various places around the United States, while living in Santa Cruz they decided to try the B&B business (after raising 4 boys--and their friends--we thought we could handle guests who made reservations and paid for the privilege). It's worked out wonderfully--we truly love the Calistoga lifestyle and hope we can share it with you

In an historic Victoiran building (dating to 1860), the Brannan Cottage Inn provides a comfortable, relaxing, centrally-located "home away from home" for your visit to California's Napa and Sonoma wine countries! We have 6 rooms and extensive indoor and outdoor common areas for reading, relaxing and tasting Judy's wonderful full breakfasts each morning. Four of the rooms are one bedroom accomodations and two (our minisuites) offer an additional sitting room (with fireplace, TV, and seating). All rooms have queen size beds (some are 4 poster style), air conditioning, ceiling fans, refrigerators, hair dryers, etc.; and 5 of the six rooms offer a fireplace.
We also offer wonderful amenties ranging from free use of the swimming pool and outdoor mineral springs hot tubs at the Golden Haven Hot Springs Resort (about three blocks away), free and discounted wine tasting opportunities at more than 40 local wineries and tasting rooms, 10-15% discounts on your meals in about 10 of the restaurants in Calistoga (all within walking distance), and special deals at several of the spas in town as well.
Each Friday night in peak season (April 1 to October 31) we offer wine tasting on our shaded patio--we provide the guests and the appetizers, and one of our local winery partners provide their finest liquid products.

For any cancellation there is a minimum USD25 fee. For a cancellation within 7 days of scheduled arrival date, and if we are not able to rent the room to another guest, there is a one night's stay charge.
We require a credit card number and expiration date to hold a reservation. We do not charge the card except in a cancellation situation.
