In The Constantia Valley surrounded by wine farms a long winding driveway leads you to a stunning secluded spot of indigenous gardens where Lola & Rick offer a unique experience in their charming character filled guest house. Set among mature trees and rambling grounds, the beautifully renovated stable buildings and cottages with historical green stable doors open onto an ivy fringed courtyard which overlooks the heated pool and a mass of plants spread out beneath two enormous plane trees.
Each room has private entrance and patio and is furnished with Percale bed linen, and luxury bath sheets, pool towels, satalite TV, telephone, bath robes, hairdryers, ceiling fans or air conditioning , bar fridge, wireless ADSL network system, free WI-FI and assorted teas, coffee and cookies.
A lovely breakfast room leads to a library with a guests dedicated computer work station,
The heart of The Stables is the lounge / bar. A congenial snug of heavy armchairs, low beams, earth red walls and log fires where guests are encouraged to tap into a well stocked bar.
Lily's Cottage is vey private in has two double en-suite ( shower ) bedrooms, one with a queen bed the other twin beds. There is a large lounge / dinning room and a fully fitted kitchenette. A shady verandah with a BBQ overlooks the garden and the Constantiaberg Mountains.
There is secure floodlit parking, free WI-FI, and have been awarded 4 stars by The Tourism Grading Council of SA.
