Glenalmond House is an impressive example of a detached Victorian house, located in a beautiful part of the city of Edinburgh. It is just a few minutes by bus or a 20 minute walk to the centre of the city and the main tourist attractions. The buses run 24 hours a day and during the daytime, every few minutes.

All our 10 rooms are en-suite, with 5 rooms on the ground floor and 5 rooms on the first floor. All are decorated to a very high standard, in keeping with the age of the house. Several rooms have queen-size 4-poster beds, for that special occasion.
Free off-street parking is guaranteed for all our guests.
Off-street parking is a bonus after anywhere close to the centre of Edinburgh, as on-street parking is restricted or has to be paid for, in many parts of the city.
We also offer our guests free Wi-Fi internet access at all times.
There is an extensive breakfast menu, which includes the traditional Scottish breakfast, many vegetarian options and much more.

In the centre of Edinburgh, the main attraction is Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile leading down to Holyrood Palace.
Holyrood Palace is the residence of British Royals when they visit Edinburgh. The palace is located in Holyrood Park, where you can climb the famous 'Arthur's Seat' to get fantastic views of the city of Edinburgh and surrounding areas.

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. After this there is a 1 night charge. No shows and cancellations less than 3 days before arrival will be charged the full amount of the stay.
