GREEN LAGOON is an exclusive resort in the backwaters of Kerala, an island in tghe Vembanad Lake 20 km south of Cochin - half hour by car or speedboat.
It presently offers 2 Residences and 1 Room. Each Residence has 2 or 3 rooms (a/c), 2 spacious bathgardens with all facilities and rainshowers and solar water heaters, a private massage room, a pool 10 x 5 meters with jacuzzi and infinity edge towards the lake, half acre private garden around the house.
The island has a Museum of South Indian Art where dinners are served.
You can also dine in your house, at your pool, on your terrace, or on one of the tables under big trees in the garden.
The delicious cuisine is based on only fresh and mainly organic ingredients, fruits and vegetables from the own garden, fish and prawns from the own lagoon, from the lake, and the near sea. With the exeption of cream and jams, no preserved food is used; even the icecreams are always freshly made and have not seen a freezer.
Boating with a small country boat into the smaller canals of the backwaters, trips by speedboat to the temple of Vaikom across the lake or to Fort Cochin, deep sea yachting and fishing can be arranged.
You can enjoy performances of classical Indian music or dance, or Kararipayattu, the martial arts of Kerala and the mother of all martial arts of Asia, or the stick dance of the boys of the arts club of a neighbouring island.
The closest beaches are at the sea near Mararikulam - 30 km away. Excursions to the near mountains, to other parts of Kerala, or to the temple sites of Tamil Nadu can be arranged.
GREEN LAGOON is the ideal place for somebody who wants to really relax from his normal busy life, and be pampered in a paradisical environment.

Cancellations
more than 30 days before the expected arrival: 20 % of the price retained.
30 to 8 days before the expected arrival: 40 % of the price will be retained.
7 to 4 days before the expected arrival: 60 % of the price will be retained.
less than 4 days before the expected arrival: 80 % of the price will be retained.
