We are truly the cheapest place to stay in the Manhattan or northern New Jersey area, and no other place you stay at will give you the bang for the buck that we offer!!! Our low, lower, and lowest prices are the cheapest anywhere around.

We are conveniently located approximately one mile from the Holland Tunnel. From the Holland Tunnel you can arrive into Manhattan in a matter of minutes. Buses, trains, and ferries are all within short walking distances to get to New York City and other nearby attractions. When there's no traffic you can drive from Jersey City's B&B into NYC in less than ten minutes.

From our Bed and Breakfast it is slightly more than a half of a mile to the Journal Square Path Train stop. From here you can arrive directly into Manhattan in about ten minutes. You can walk to the train stop from our Bed and Breakfast in about ten minutes. It takes about 2 or 3 minutes to get there by car from our place. Coming back you can take a taxi from the Train Station for $5.00. (Though it is only about a 10 minute walk.)

The bottom line is that from the time you leave our place to the time you arrive in Manhattan will be about 20 minutes to the World Trade Center (WTC) or Ground Zero stop. To get to midtown (33rd) Street stop takes only about another 10 minutes. (When you get out here you are less than two blocks from the Empire State Building)

In order to avoid fraud, only make prepayments (reservations or deposits) using a credit card (or any other card that does not require a PIN number for online purchases) or PayPal. Never make an advanced payment using cash, checks, money orders or bank transfers. Learn why.

Deposit amount required (20% or 100% of the room charge will be charged to your credit card immediately or within 24 hours after your reservation. If you pay cash on departure, a credit will be given.)

Cancellations and changes:

* If you cancel or change dates more than 30 days before your arrival date then an 80% refund will be given. We have the cheapest prices in the NYC area so we have to be somewhat strict about our cancellation and change of date policies. Within 24 hours after you book your room we will charge your credit card 100% of your visit and most likely no refunds will be given unless you cancel or change your dates at least 30 days before your stay. As I already stated, if you cancel or change your dates 30 days before your arrival date then an 80% refund of the total reservation will be given. However, no refunds will be given at all if you cancel or change your dates within 30 days of your arrival date unless we book someone else in your room for that night or nights at the same rate; then a partial refund will be given to you within 48 hours for the same rate that we were able to reserve the room for after we have booked another guest in the room you had already paid for. Please also note that no refunds whatsoever will be given to any reservations when we are having special promotions for one or two night stays. Special promotions are all promotions where the rate for one night for one person is forty nine dollars per night or less plus tax.

* Please remember that a 20% administrative fee of the total reservation will be charged to all cancellations that are canceled 24 hours or more after your credit card has been charged for the days of your stay with us. There is no charge whatsoever if you reserve a room and cancel within 24 hours as long as the reservation is made more than 7 days in advance. If you make your reservation within 7 days of your arrival date the full amount of your stay will be charged to your card immediately and there will be a full 100% cancellation fee as soon as your room is reserved. Therefore, please make sure you are definitely going to be staying with us all the days you reserve if you reserve within a week of your arrival.

* If you reserve your room more than 90 days in advance, you may request us to not charge you the full amount immediately if your stay is more than 4 days. If you request this before you make your reservation we will charge your credit card only 20% of the total cost of your stay instead of the entire bill. If you cancel your reservation within 30 days of your arrival date, only a 20% administrative fee of the total reservation will be charged to your credit card. In other words, you will get an 80% refund. However, 30 days before your arrival date the entire cost of your stay will be charged to your room (the 80% balance) and then all policies above will apply.
