The Bungalow is located at the Vypeen side of harbour mouth of the ship channel of Port of Cochin with Fort Kochi on the other side, is famous for its historical buildings that includes The Bungalow, Chinese fishing nets and its meld of Portuguese, Dutch and English influences. Built in 1930, this heritage building of Vypeen, is a mixture of Portuguese, Dutch and Kerala architectures.

Fort Kochi, The famous Heritage zone is linked to Vypeen through a 5minutes ferry. The Bungalow is just 2 minutes walk to the Ferry station. While crossing the ferry a picturesque view of Vypeen and Fort Cochin along with its Chinese fishing nets & shipping channel can be seen.

The host family live on the ground floor, which is in Portuguese style. Dutch styled first floor of this three storied house is fully furnished with two spacious double bed rooms and a sit out for the comfort of the guest. Second floor attic, which is of typical Kerala style, is available to guests for common uses like reading , indoor games like chess etc. Each room has wooden floor and wooden ceilings. Wooden staircase connect each floor.

The food is cooked in traditional Kerala style and there are wide selection to choose, in case you decide to eat with the family.
