Riad Mur Akush was created out of our love for this wonderful country, and the magic of the old medina of Marrakech. We came here 7 years ago and as soon as we set foot in this place we fell in love with it! Buying this old merchant's house, and renovating it with care and respect to the traditional arts and materials took a few years of hard work, sweat and tears and extreme stubborness! Our dream was to create a heaven in the mad and wonderful place and this elegant house is now give back to us so much... It is a beautiful place, not doubt about it, but there is something about it that cannot be seen in the photos or described by words. We feel it and our guests commend on it to. The house has a "soul", a special character and you feel it, you smell it and you immediately feel at peace, relaxed as you have finally reached home.

Romantic We are a boutique riad, located in a really safe, authentic and easy to find neighbourhoods in the old town of Marrakech. Within 10 minutes from the main square (Jemaa El Fna), a few minutes from the souks, and with parking and car access a few steps from our front door, you will be ideally located to explore the magical Marrakech. With only 6 rooms in our house, we offer exclusive accommodation, in uniquely and traditionally decorated rooms and bathrooms with items that we collected all over Morroco (from tent supports and doors from the Sahara, to antique wall panellings from wealthy residences in Fez), you will find that modern luxuries are not compromised. Premium toiletries and Egyptian cotton towels along with I-POD docks and safes are standard in all rooms. Our service is attentive and genuine and our food is rumoured to be one of the best in Marrakech! Generous space, generous breakfast and generous smiles ensure that you will have a wonderful time with us and we make it our business that you will leave with a smile on your face too!!
