The Old Church which was built in 1873 now provides elegant en-suite accommodation set in a charming elevated position in the heart of the historic Village of Muirkirk, set within the rolling Ayrshire uplands.

Here at the Old Church we have three luxurious rooms to choose from including the Cairn table Suite, the Glespin and Glenbuck rooms, a little taste of heaven...............
GUESTS CAN ENJOY

The guest lounge with log burning stove, has ample comfortable seating, reading material and also comes with an eclectic collection of music available on the Ipod system.There is no television within this room to allow guests to relax and enjoy quieter pursuits, there are of course televisions in each of our three guest rooms.
DVD players are provided in every guest room with access to a DVD library.
If you have a wireless enabled laptop, connect from the comfort and privacy of your own room or in the guest lounge.
There is ample parking at the Old Church both off road and in the adjacent car park.

We have the facility to store golf clubs, angling gear and bicycles if you require at no additional cost.
Dining
At the Old Church you will quickly discover that food is our passion!! A delicious selection of homebaking will await you on arrival, and the full Scottish Breakfast will make you wish you could stay longer.

We also offer evening meals, either a simple supper or an elaborate gourmet banquet. All we ask is a little bit of notice as all of our food is freshly prepared.

The same level of preparation and care that goes into our breakasts and evening meals also applies to our picnic lunches - again available on request.
All meals, locally sourced and freshly prepared for you, can be served in the kitchen which is the heart of our home or for a more intimate setting, in the guest drawing room - the choice is yours.

We are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements.
Food will play a major part of your stay at the Old Church, where ALL dining is Fine Dining.

Our menu changes daily to suit the season and the guests, now that Autumn appears to be just around the corner, there are lots of new warming recipes to try out! I am baking different varieties of Bread each day for the guests to try out.

Policies

In order to avoid fraud, only make prepayments (reservations or deposits) using a credit card (or any other card that does not require a PIN number for online purchases) or PayPal. Never make an advanced payment using cash, checks, money orders or bank transfers. Learn why.

DEPOSITS

We require a deposit in order to guarantee your booking; this is normally £30.00 per room booked or 20% of the reservation value (whichever is the higher), and can be paid by Paypal, cheque, BACS or cash. See below for further details of each option. Deposits are non-refundable (unless we have to cancel your booking for reasons outwith our control, in which case all monies received will be refunded).

Cash Payments :
Payment can be made in cash in GBP Stirling, we can also accept euros subject to a conversion charge.

PayPal Payments :
Payment can now be made through Paypal, we will invoice you via your email for the deposit or the entire amount whichever you prefer and this way you can pay by Credit or a Paypal account if you have one.
You do not need to be an account holder with Paypal to use this service.

CANCELLATIONS
Bookings must be cancelled 7 days in advance of your arrival date.

Where we incur a loss of revenue due to cancellation, no show, or curtailment of stay, we reserve the right to levy a charge should we be unable to re-let the booked room(s), like for like. No charge will exceed 75% of the value of the booking.
If you are concerned about the possibility of cancellation, you are advised to take out Travel Insurance.
