Secluded B&B close to Yosemite & Chukchansi Casino, located on four and a half acres with 100 acres of Federal Forest surrounding the beautiful mountain property. Stately oaks and pines surround our pond creating a beautiful setting for the spa located on the second floor deck, overlooking the pond, where you can soak under the stars. Wild flowers and other flowering foliage carpet the hillsides.

Guest accommodations are located on the first floor with a private dining room just for the guests. You will begin each morning with a gourmet breakfast guaranteed to please every palate.

Each room has its own bath, private entrance, Dish TV/VCR and local phones. The refreshment area is located between the suites, and includes videos, games, books, snacks and beverages, microwave oven, refrigerator and laundry facilities.

A guest deck is located just outside the bedroom doors, or enjoy the other private areas on the spacious grounds, including a picnic area, swing for 4 and meditation garden. Because of its uniqueness, Ravensbrook is the place for 2 couples or a family to book both rooms for both freedom and privacy!

For reservations made 30 or more days in advance:
A 20%/50% deposit will be charged to your credit card immediately but no more than approximately 6 months in advance of check-in. Cancellation must be made at least 90 days before arrival for refund of fees charged, less 10% cancellation fee (5 night maximum). For cancellation less than 90 days before arrival, the entire deposit will be retained. For cancellation less than 30 days in advance, you may be subject to the entire cost of your stay.***
For reservations made less than 30 days in advance:
A non-refundable 20%/50% deposit will be charged to your credit card at the time of reservation. Cancellations made at least 10 days before arrival may also be subject to an additional 10% cancellation fee (2 night maximum) if your room(s) can be re-booked. If the room(s) are not re-booked, or for cancellation less than 10 days in advance, you may be subject to the entire cost of your stay.***
Modification of reservations: There is no charge for modification of reservation dates or rooms made 30 days in advance if availability permits. Requests for changes made less than 30 days prior may be subject to cancellation fees as stated above.***

For multiple nights' stays, the rate for more than 2 guests MAY be reduced but there is a charge for each additional person over the standard two guests. RAVENSBOOK POLICIES FOR GUESTS WITH CHILDREN
While I personally adore children and love to host them at Ravensbrook, it is important to realize that this setting is not appropriate for certain children, especially those between 1 and 4 years of age. Many, if not most, B&Bs in the area do not take reservations for families with children. There is an additional charge for all children*, regardless of age, and whether or not you require bedding and food for them. (*only if your party exceeds 2 guests)

Neither the grounds, nor my home, are “child-proof.” My property is not fenced. There is a large, deep pond with very steep sides and another smaller, less accessible pond. Being a 3- to 4-story house, there are several sets of stairs and above-ground decks. In your rooms, and especially in the “common area,” breakable items, such as dishes and decor, are within reach. There are no child-proof locks or outlet-covers. As parents, you are financially responsible for any breakage or damage.

My primary concern is noise. Ravensbrook is billed as “quiet and peaceful.” Many couples come here to enjoy a night AWAY from their own children and busy lives. If there is no one staying in the other room, or you are all visiting together, there obviously is no concern, as I do not mind noise, especially the joyful kind! However, to be fair to guests you are NOT traveling with, please do everything possible to minimize noise. Ravensbrook was built as a house, not a hotel, so the walls are not sound-proof. If your child is prone to prolonged crying during the night, this is not the place for you. If s/he is an early riser, go for a walk outside, watch TV quietly, or read books. If mealtime is a “hassle,” consider taking your breakfast out on the deck or to the picnic table. I request that NO ONE eat in the guest rooms as there are several dining areas within a few feet of your room.

Again, I it is my pleasure to host your family and I enjoy sharing Ravensbrook with guests of all ages. However, please be sensitive to the rights and expectations of the other guests. If you believe that Ravensbrook is NOT the place for you, please call me immediately and I can cancel your reservation with no charge and suggest another B&B where you may be more comfortable.
