Located in Pacific City, The Craftsman Bed & Breakfast welcomes you to
experience the beautiful Oregon Coast in style, grace and comfort.

Pacific City is about an hour and half drive southwest of Portland, and one
hour from Salem, located midway between Lincoln City and Tillamook. Still a
small beach town, really. We have great restaurants, taverns, galleries and
shops.

Your stay begins as you enter the front door and are taken back to a time of
simple elegance. Built in 1921 and renovated in 2005 to include the comforts
and conveniences of today. You will marvel at all the details of the Craftsman
era that went into the renovation of one of Pacific City’s oldest homes.

Whether for a simple escape from the chaos of "the city" or to celebrate a
special or romantic event, we will make your stay memorable. Everything in
town is within walking distance. Park your car, relax and unplug.

In order to avoid fraud, only make prepayments (reservations or deposits) using a credit card (or any other card that does not require a PIN number for online purchases) or PayPal. Never make an advanced payment using cash, checks, money orders or bank transfers. Learn why.

In order to be guaranteed a room on your arrival date, a valid credit card is required as a form of a deposit. We will not charge this card at the time of your reservation request, but may run it for a pre-authorization of charges.
A confirmation from The Craftsman B&B, via email or in writing, of any change or cancellation is required as proof that we have received your cancellation request.
You may cancel or change your reservation prior to one week of your arrival
date without penalty. If you booked more than 4 days or the whole house we
require 2 weeks notice.

If you cancel or change your reservation within one week of your stay, we will
charge your credit card an equivalent to one night’s stay in the room(s) you
reserved. This charge will occur immediately after confirmation of your
cancellation. If we are able to rebook your room, we will send you a Craftsman
B&B Gift Certificate equal to the amount we charged; if the room is not
rebooked, you will not receive this gift certificate.

In the event of a no-show (failure to arrive on your designated date without
prior confirmation by us, via email, of your cancellation), your credit card will
be charged for the full amount of your booked reservation (including multiple
nights) and a gift certificate will not be issued.

While we understand that travel plans change due to circumstances beyond ones
control, please understand that we are a small B&B and we do not keep a
waitlist. Once a reservation is confirmed, your room becomes unavailable to
anyone else on your requested date(s). Every attempt will be made to rebook
your cancelled room.

Weather related issues: Our coastal climate is very mild, but we do get
strong winter storms. If we have power and roads are open, we will remain
open. If we do not have power prior to your stay, we will do our best to notify
you. There are several routes from the Willamette Valley and Portland to Pacific
City. The two major routes, Highway 6, Highway 22/18 must both be closed in
order receive a weather related cancellation. Check road conditions here.

CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION:
All cancellations require you to notify us by phone: 503-965-4574 or e-mail:
innkeeper@craftsmanbb.com. We MUST confirm cancellations, via e-mail
within 24 hours. If you do not receive confirmation of your cancellation within
24 hours, please call us at 503-965-4574.

If you are using a gift card or certificate, we still require a valid credit card to hold the reservation.

No children unless all four rooms (whole house) are reserved as a block at the time of reservation.
No pets are allowed; this includes pets kept in your car.
No smoking or candles.
All rooms are located on the 2nd floor.
