Our castle is a short walk to one of the best black sand beaches on the Big Island of Hawaii where you can swim with wild dolphins (we have on a number of occasions!) A view of migrating whales is also possible from the roof of the castle if you visit at the right time of year. The active volcano, natural steam vents, lush tropical gardens & forests, majestic waterfalls, warm water pond, champagne pond and a bottomless green lake located in a crater, are also nearby for you to explore and enjoy. Historic Pahoa Village is only a fifteen-minute drive and has a number of highly recommended restaurants and a Natural Food Store. The Castle offers fresh, clean and comfortable rooms, each including local artwork, fresh flowers, Hawaiiana library and guide books, Satellite Dish, TV/DVD and extensive movie library. Each room has it's private entrance, private bath, closet, kitchen privileges, a lanai with a magnificent, breathtaking view of the ocean. The castle has a moat (lap pool) with drawbridge and that isn't the only unique feature of this creative, extreme home with panoramic views. We encourage you to use the sauna and Jacuzzi. There is a courtyard for evening BBQ or luau. We can also arrange for in-room massage and body work.

In order to avoid fraud, only make prepayments (reservations or deposits) using a credit card (or any other card that does not require a PIN number for online purchases) or PayPal. Never make an advanced payment using cash, checks, money orders or bank transfers. Learn why.

We will gladly refund your deposit less a fifty-dollar service charge as long as we receive written notice of cancellation at least thirty days prior to the scheduled arrival date. We regret that cancellations received fourteen or fewer days prior to arrival date will only receive a fifty percent refund of the deposit. Cancellations during holidays and Iron Man and Merrie Monarch must be made sixty days or more prior to your arrival date.

Reservations require a 50% deposit and must be received within two weeks of making the reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival. (Holiday and peak times, balance is due 60 days prior to arrival).

Payments may be made by Paypal. Once we confirm availability of your reservation request, we will contact you by phone or email.
