The farm has been completely redecorated and furnished with great care in order to ensure the most unforgettable and comfortable stay to our guests. With all it’s varied facilities the Lavacchio farm holiday resort offers 4 different vacation possibilities: it is possible to lodge in either comfortable rooms or suites with private bathroom; or in independent fully equipped apartments , or in an independent villa “Casa del Mugnaio” with private garden. Delicious homemade jams, cakes and pastries, local hams and cheeses, fruits and yogurt.
From May to September you can enjoy lunch at our snack and bar “Il Cedro” with tuscan crostini, bruschetta, cheese and ham platters and salads prepared with organic and fresh greens from our garden appreciating the view of the swimming pool and the vineyards. In the evening we organize thematic dinners to let you discover the Tuscan culinary traditions and meet other guests.

Our gastronomic restaurant “Mulino a Vento” offers a wonderful selection of Tuscan specialties prepared everyday with fresh and genuine ingredients, mixed grills. Immersed in the green landscape and in perfect harmony with the surroundings, the restaurant offers a large and open air terrace with panoramic views over the valley and hills of Florence.

The interior is decorated with great care using natural materials. The parquet floor is made from the old barrels in which the wines used to be aged. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant, as well as the personalized service and kindness of the staff, will give a special touch to your meals.

MINI CLUB is free of charge and is available in July and August to
allow parents to fully enjoy their holiday. On request we organize massage and beauty treatments.

You can easily visit the main important art cities and enjoy the peace of the hill after a chaotic day.

The farm is only 18 Km. far from Florence and is possible to reach it by car (30 min. more or less), by train or by coach. Fiesole is also very close and the route between the farm and Fiesole has incomparable landscape sceneries.

Siena and the neighborhood are 80 km. far (almost 1 hour by motorway), whereas Arezzo and Val di Chiana are 60 km far.

Every week we organize different activities connected with agriculture, pruning and cuisine to let you discover Tuscan culture and traditions.

You can also practice sports in order to keep one’s figure and not feel guilty if you eat just a little bit more than the ordinary day.

During specific seasons, such as the wine or olive harvest, activities will be themes- oriented. Such as the “Olive oil week” with olive harvesting, oil tasting classes, olive preparations and olive oil; “The Wine week”, “The Bread week”, preparing the flour at the windmill and making your own bread and probably “The Pig’s week” where our guests will learn how to prepare hams, salamis and several pâtés.

No cancellation fee will be applied if the guest communicates the cancellation at least 61 days before the reserved date.
The following cancellation fee will be applied:
- 31- 60 days before the arrival date : 30% of the entire amount will be applied
- 30-15 days before the arrival date : 60% of the entire amount will be applied
- 15 -1 day before the arrival date : 80% of the entire amount will be applied
-In case of no-show or cancellation on the day of the arrival: 100% of the entire amount will be applied.
