Steve and Emma, owners of 'The White House' Historic Luxury Accommodation met in the UK whilst Steve was running his pub there during 20 odd years of travelling the world. Steve was born in Auckand and later moved to the Bay of Islands. Emma was born in Marton, England and after many years of travelling decided her home was definitely New Zealand.
They have extensively travelled the world and have heaps of travel knowledge and experience. "The main thing" they say "is to create a relaxed home from home holiday environment where there are few boundaries. This is why we have late check out and breakfast served until 12 midday" You can often find them in the village tasting a few hard earned beers after a busy day.
