It is a historic building with the Old Watermill still inside the Restaurant. Approx. 150 years old. The farm obtained its name from the old mill. All the wheat from the valley was milled on the farm. At that stage there were hundreds of mills all over the country. In Oct. 2003 Christo and his wife Doret Spies, changed the old building into an a la carte Restaurant, with 12 -4 star rooms next to the Restaurant. We are situated in an area called Schoemanshoek / Schoemanspoort, Cango Valley / Cango Road.
We specialize in Venison and Ostrich dishes. For those who don't like to go to the extreme, enjoy lamb, pasta and many more to choose from.

We are situated on the R328, In Schoemanspoort, just 15 km from Oudtshoorn on your way to the Cango Caves. We are on the left side of the road.

Our family 4-star unit has two separate rooms, each with their own entrance. The unit has one bathroom with bath and shower. Unit includes T.V in both rooms, fan , aircon, coffee and tea facilities, mini bar. Only a few meters away from our a la carte Restaurant and our tamed game.

The luxury 4-star unit for 2 has a balcony with a spectacular view! Room includes a spacious bathroom with bath and shower, aircon, DSTV, mini bar and coffee and tea facilities. Only a few metres away from our a la carte Restaurant and tamed game!

The normal 4-star rooms has a veranda with a view of our spectacular farm & game. Room includes bathroom with shower, air con , coffee & tea facilities, mini bar.

In order to avoid fraud, only make prepayments (reservations or deposits) using a credit card (or any other card that does not require a PIN number for online purchases) or PayPal. Never make an advanced payment using cash, checks, money orders or bank transfers. Learn why.

In the event of premature departure we may charge for the full original booking.
Cancellation 0 - 14 days before date of arrival, or no-show – visitor forfeits 100% of deposit paid.
Cancellation 15 - 28 days before date of arrival – visitor forfeits 75% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater).
Cancellation 29+ days before date of arrival – visitor forfeits 50% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater).
Children under 12 pays half price.
