41 on Cedar Bed & Breakfast “your Home Away from Home” is situated in Thornton, one of Cape Town’s leafy northern suburbs, in tranquil surroundings and in a beautiful walled private garden setting, where you can kick back and enjoy your stay. We are conveniently situated for both the leisure and business traveller and located within easy access to local business and tertiary education districts such as Old Mutual and Cape Town Technical College. It is also close to most tourist attractions ie. Grandwest Casino, Century City for Canal Walk shopping, N1 City shopping mall Ratanga junction theme park and V&A Waterfront Table Mountain, Cape Town City centre and Cape Town International Airport are all about 10 minutes drive away (off peak times) and we are also situated very close to the following national roads: N1, N2, N7 (which takes you directly up the West Coast) and for even more convenience, the train station is 5 minute walk away, with all usual amenities you can expect in your own home 41 on Cedar B&B is truly your “home away from home” experience. We are a strictly “halaal” and an unlicensed establishment (no liquor served on premises).

We have a bowling green just down the road and within walking distance you will find the SOS children's Village for the Voluntourist. It is a 3 minute car drive to the GrandWest Casino for those that like to try their luck at the gaming machines and in the Grandwest Complex there are many restaurants and eating places as well as movie houses, ice skating and children amusement park, night clubs for all night dancing and dining and the newly opened Arena for live shows.

In order to avoid fraud, only make prepayments (reservations or deposits) using a credit card (or any other card that does not require a PIN number for online purchases) or PayPal. Never make an advanced payment using cash, checks, money orders or bank transfers. Learn why.

Cancellation Terms :
In the event of premature departure we may charge for the full original booking.
Cancellation 0 - 14 days before date of arrival, or no-show – visitor forfeits 100% of deposit paid.
Cancellation 15 - 28 days before date of arrival – visitor forfeits 75% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater).
Cancellation 29+ days before date of arrival – visitor forfeits 50% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater).
On receipt of a written instruction to cancel the reservation, including bank details, 41 on Cedar will refund the applicable amount, within 3 working days. 41 on Cedar levies a 7% administration fee on any refunds processed. Should refunds to a SWIFT bank account be required, an additional R185 charge will be levied.
